If thou sayest, Behold, we knew it not; doth not He that pondereth the heart consider it? and He that keepeth thy soul, doth not He know it? and shall not He render to every man according to his works?
Speak not in the ears of a fool: for he will despise the wisdom of thy words.
He that hath a bountiful eye shall be blessed; for he giveth of his bread to the poor.
The way of man is froward and strange: but as for the pure, his work is right.
It is an honour for a man to cease from strife: but every fool will be meddling.
The foolishness of man perverteth his way: and his heart fretteth against the Lord.
It is not good to accept the person of the wicked, to overthrow the righteous in judgment.
